Identify the decision and starting date

180 calendar days from the original Medi-Cal consultant decision (TAR action date), for services other than vision. This is not a claim/RAD appeal deadline; no personal due date is calculated.

Retain the original TAR action and Adjudication Response. A claim-payment dispute follows a different process and starting event. The source directs vision TAR appeals to the Vision Care Provider Manual.

Prepare the written appeal
